Lake County Autism Association is pleased to announce that a chapter of Providing Autism Links & Supports (PALS) in Lake County is now a reality. PALS is a non-profit organization developed to assist the UCF Center for Autism Related Disabilities (CARD), which is state-funded. Since 2006, CARD’s budget has been reduced by more than $2.5 million, while the number of children diagnosed with ASD grows daily, creating a gap in funds needed to provide vital services.

Mardi Gras Mask
With Mardi Gras coming up on March 8th, I thought this would be the perfect time to bring out the traditional craft of making a Mardi Gras Mask! Fun for all ages! My youngest daughter Haley had a blast creating her very own colorful Mask! And it was Super easy! Your kids are sure to love this too!

Here is what you need:
- Paper Plate
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers/ Crayons

MACARONI MOMMA & ME MADE
3-2-1 Cake
It allows you to have your favorite cake, cut the calories and prepare “single serve” portions.
Mix ANY boxed cake mix with one box of Angel Food cake mix
Must stay dry (and because mixed dry, can live in Ziploc or airtight container for months)
In a crock similar in size to one you would use to make French onion soup; mix the following:
- 3 Tblsp mix
- 2 Tblsp water
- Stir thoroughly
- 1 minute in microwave
DONE! Frost or top with ice cream as desired. A light and fluffy, just-enough ...
